6.2 Connection with ProgMaster programmer

Connect LCD keypad (I/F: Programmer connector) with programmer (I/F: DP-KPD) via Dupont

Line which could be found in the standalone dongle package (optional).

6.3 Update LCD Firmware

1. Disconnect programmer with PC and power off the programmer

2. Connect LCD keypad with programmer via Dupont Line

3. Power on the programmer

4. Push the power button of LCD keypad for a short period. Once successful, the screen

will show the version of programmer.

5. Connect the programmer with PC via USB cable

6. Open Dediware Software(i.e. double click the shortcut on the desktop)

7. Execute menu bar “Help”“LCD Firmware Update ”

8. Select your firmware file and click “open”, LCD keypad will show the process bar. Once

complete, restart the device

Note:

Currently, Phison series (i.e. P/N begin with PHISON, ex. Phison_S34ML01G200TFI00) is not

supported by standalone mode (i.e. User cannot program Phison series with LCD Keypad

and the unique key cannot be programmed as well).
